Entry Level Driver Training CDL-B Theory. Is mandated for drivers applying for a CDL-A permit. This training includes 33+ theory requirements. Significantly, this must be provided by a school or entity listed on FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR). However a training provider must meet specific requirements. Generally addressing curriculum, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and instructor qualifications.
